Mild, slightly sweet and soft cooking kidney beans. Keeps its shape and colour during cooking. For chillies, stews, salads, spreads, burgers, wraps and vegetable pans.
Wash the beans and soak in plenty of cold water for 8 - 12 hours. Then drain the water and rinse the beans. Boil 1 cup of kidney beans with about 3 cups of fresh water once and then simmer gently for about 60-90 minutes at low temperature with the lid closed. Do not add salt until cooked.
