Use: Daily in the morning
Directions: Massage 2-4 drops into skin after cleansing. Follow with moisturizer and SPF. May be layered over Hydrating Nutrient Mist.

What is the percentage of Vitamin C?  Our Vitamin C Serum uses Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate (SAP), a form of Vitamin C that is much more stable and less susceptible to oxidation than some traditionally used forms of Vitamin C. This serum is great for both sensitive and acne-prone skin! The recommended percentage for efficacy without irritation varies for different forms of Vitamin C, and therefore they cannot simply be compared based on percentages. Our serum would be comparable to a 15-20% L-ascorbic acid serum. We use a combination of Vitamin C, Vitamin E, and Ferulic Acid because this trio of ingredients has been shown to have antioxidant properties.
Is this supposed to be clear?  A slightly yellow, cloudy serum is not uncommon for our Vitamin C serum due to the botanicals (such as chamomile, sage, and konjac) used in the formulas.
Should I wear sunscreen if I apply Vitamin C Serum in the morning?  Our Vitamin C Serum is rich in antioxidants making it a great choice for daytime use, but it is not a replacement for sunscreen. We recommend using a sunscreen daily to protect your skin from damage.
What is the consistency?  The Vitamin C serum is a thin, gel-like serum that is quickly and easily absorbed by the skin.
Is this good for acne-prone skin?  Our Vitamin C Serum is great for congested and oily skin types. It’s a concentrated blend of vitamin C, ferulic acid, and vitamin E with nutrient-rich konjac root.
Should I apply this in the morning, evening or both?  We recommend using our Vitamin C Serum in the morning and an exfoliant like our Super A Serum or AHA Exfoliating Peel in the evening. If you don’t use another serum at night, you can apply the Vitamin C Serum twice daily.
How much should I use?  We recommend using a dime-sized amount of Vitamin C Serum, which is usually enough to cover the face and neck.
Does this have a scent?  We don't use synthetic fragrances in our line, but this serum does contain konjac root, chamomile, and sage extracts which give off a light scent. It doesn't have a strong scent and dissipates quickly.
