The traditional variety Quinoa Real grows exclusively in the high altitudes of the Bolivian Andes. Colourful Quinoa Tricolore is a mixture of the classic white quinoa as well as red and black quinoa. The grains taste slightly nutty and can be used in a versatile way.
Wash the quinoa thoroughly before cooking. Simmer 250 g quinoa in 500 ml water for approx. 20 minutes and then leave to swell for 5 minutes.
